Driving and stopping in the Square Mile

  • Charges. Both the Congestion Charge and the ULEZ cover the City; any charge for the trip you made in is still yours to pay.
  • Restricted streets. Some streets and junctions are closed to private cars at busy times, including Bank during the working day, so the truck may need to come in by a different route. Tell us the nearest building or street corner.
  • Car parks. Many cars break down in office or public car parks. Say which floor the car is on and what headroom the entrance allows, so we bring a suitable truck.
  • Evenings and weekends. The streets are much quieter, and recovery is usually simpler.
