  • Earl's Court and West Brompton. The one-way system here moves fast; if you can, coast into a side road.
  • Chelsea and the river. The Embankment and the bridges carry heavy traffic; there's very little space to stop.
  • North Kensington and Kensal Town. The A40 Westway runs overhead. Don't stop on the elevated road if you can reach the next exit.

Parking bays here are almost all residents-only or pay-by-phone, and the borough is inside the ULEZ. If a warden appears while you wait, explain that recovery is on its way.
